Draft Easy Read document and film script

We started working on a draft Easy Read version of the LeDeR report.

Alongside this work, we collaborated with Frizbee Films to draft the script for an accessible video about the LeDeR report.

A rough film edit was created using stock video and voice-over and shared with the client for their feedback.

Text document titled "FILM 2" describing the NHS efforts in England to improve care for individuals with learning disabilities and autism, focusing on the Midlands case study. Highlights include increased annual health checks, reduced hospital stays, and faster LeDeR reviews.

Co-produce Easy Read document and accessible video

With this unique project, we held two types of workshops with the IC Works experts:

  • an Easy Read workshop to check and improve the content of the draft Easy Read LeDeR

  • an accessible video workshop to check a rough edit of the LeDeR report video to get feedback on making the video more accessible

Finalise Easy Read document and accessible video

The Easy Read document and accessible video were updated with feedback from the experts, who worked closely with NHS England to finalise both formats.

It was decided to split early drafts of the video into:

  • an introduction to LeDeR

  • LeDeR projects in all the NHS regions around England.

The Easy Read document included links to the LeDeR videos, while the LeDeR videos signposted readers to the Easy Read doc
